The Stow-on-the-Wold Annual Seasonal Sales of Hay, Straw and Fodder have become established over the years as the leading sales in the country, with prices obtained at the late November sale providing the ‘yardstick’ for all the following sales.
Our Auctioneers and Staff involved with these sales endeavour to inspect every entry and agree the catalogue description with the Vendor.
Approximately ten days prior to the sale the Catalogue is distributed to our mailing register of Merchants, Applicants and Farmers, built up over the last 70 years, with buyers now in attendance from as far afield as the West Country to Scotland and West Wales to East Anglia, some with a view to exporting to Europe and many spending several days in the area viewing the lots.
The Catalogue will also be made available, in full, on our website – www.taylerandfletcher.co.uk - in addition to extensive advertising in both the national farming press and local press. The Sale takes place in the pleasant surroundings of the Clubhouse at Stow-on-the-Wold Rugby Club, with good parking facilities and refreshments available throughout the sale.
All sales start promptly at 12 noon.
